INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The YMCA of Wood Buffalo is part of an international organization
that operates in more than 120 countries. As the World's largest
membership organization, the YMCA includes 30 million members worldwide.
International Partnerships
The YMCAs of Alberta are presently working with the Bogotá,
Colombia YMCA, providing financial and program support for their
work with children and families in over 30 barrios.
Bogota YMCA staff help children and their families secure the basic
human necessities, access educational and job skill opportunities
and provide leadership development opportunities for youth and adults
in local communities.
