Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
To provide quality pool supervision at all times while on duty.
To respond to all incidents and accidents that may occur in the aquatic area or its surroundings.
To complete all maintenance and administrative duties as required.
To ensure the pool is a clean and safe environment for all patrons.
To actively participate in in-service training events.
To ensure ones lifeguard certification(s) are current.
Qualifications:
National Lifeguard Service Award
Standard First Aid or Aquatic Emergency Care
CPR Level C
Policy Security and Child Welfare checks
Instructor or lifeguard experience is an asset
Must be 16 years of age or older
Credentials:
- First Aid Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate
- Lifesaving Bronze Medallion
- Lifesaving Bronze Cross
Highest Finished Education:
Security & Safety:
- Criminal Record Check
- Child Abuse Registry Check
