Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach, evaluate, recognize and develop a motivated and satisfied staff team.
• To recruit, hire, train, develop and supervise all staff and volunteers.
• To prepare, manage and evaluate the approved aquatics budget
• To coordinate the operation of all aquatic programs and services
• To contribute as a member of our senior staff team in the operation of the Centre
• To engage and develop Community partnerships and community based programming in the aquatics environment
• To build and role model committed relationships with members
• To role model a personal commitment to healthy lifestyle

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• University Degree (Recreation, Physical Education or Education) or related experience
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Completed & Clear Child Welfare & Police Security Clearance
• CPR and First Aid
• NLS, WSI and YMCA Aquatics Instructors, LSI certifications an asset but not required we can provide in the future

Credentials:
- First Aid Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate
- Lifesaving Bronze Medallion
- Lifesaving Bronze Cross
- WHMIS Certificate
