Community Programs
In addition to providing quality fitness, sport and recreation opportunities, the YMCA has always been at the forefront of innovating outreach programs and community services. While names and specific mandates may have changed over the years, our commitment to responding to the existing and emerging needs of our diverse communities has not.
The YMCA Community Programs team is there to encourage newcomers to live healthy lifestyles and to join recreational and social activities.
The YMCA currently has the following programs running for our community members:

- YMCA Youth Opportunity Program
YMCA Employment Link- Linking French speaking Canadians and immigrants to employment. Renovations are nearly complete and this program will operate out of its permanent home - #205-10011 Franklin Ave as of Wednesday, October 5. YMCA Liaison Emploi - Rejoindre les Canadiens francophones et les immigrants aux services d'emploi. Des rénovations sont presque terminées et ce programme commencera à fonctionner le mercredi Octobre 5, de son bureau permanent au #205-10011 Franklin Avenue.
