LIFEGUARD/INSTRUCTORS

The Westwood YMCA offers training programs and courses throughout the year, based on the demand in the community. Training includes certification in Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, National Lifeguard Service and Instructors courses.

If you are interested in the training process or in upcoming courses, please contact the YMCA at 790-9622 and speak with our Aquatics Coordinator (ext. 241).

CUSTODIAL STAFF

We are seeking individuals to provide basic janitorial services within the YMCA of Wood Buffalo facilities, including our three day care facilities and the Westwood Family YMCA.

Individual(s) must have a thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures, be able to demonstrate safe cleaning practices and be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision. Experience and a current first aid certificate are definite assets. Additional training will be provided to successful candidate(s).
